Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Location: Knoxville, TN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards
• Compound testosterone formulations with a seed oil base, GLP-1s, and cyclosporine
• Maintain a clean and organized compounding environment through routine cleaning and disinfection
• Accurately document compounding activities including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs
• Assist with inventory management including receiving, labeling, and storing supplies

• Familiarity with USP <797> compliance
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• PTCB certification preferred, but not required
• Tennessee pharmacy technician registration preferred
• Interest or experience in leadership roles is a plus
• Experience compounding multiple drug types preferred

• 5,000 sq ft facility with a 4,000 sq ft expansion underway
• Team includes six pharmacists and a total staff of 30
• Six sterile hoods currently in use, with eight more planned
• Significant opportunity for advancement in a rapidly expanding pharmacy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
