Responsibilities & Duties
Purpose of Position
Loan Officer I are entry-level lenders responsible for maintaining and/or generating a loan portfolio including Consumer loans and loan renewals as assigned by Senior Lender. This position is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, documenting, underwriting and coordinating the closing of loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures. Lender positions are based on productions and evaluated in relation to loan projection goals. Lenders are to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, promote business growth of the bank’s products and services.

Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, (preferably accounting or finance) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience & Skill Requirements
Experience in servicing consumer, commercial and mortgage loan review with increased responsibilities for profitably in loan concentration. Strong financial services (preferably Banking) background and working knowledge of industry, including good understanding of credit analysis, financial statements, lending practices and operations processes. Effective communicator both in written and oral communication. Balanced decision-maker; strategic thinker; demonstrate understanding and appreciation for all facets of the business (both business development and operational/staff functions). Track record of leading and motivating people particularly achieving loan and deposit growth targets. Ability to meet deadlines and sales goals.
