Job Description
Americana Home Loans seeks a Loan Officer to originate loans and guide clients through the mortgage process. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage operations, knowledge of loan products, and strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and real estate professionals. Loan Officers will have access to a strong lead source system.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Client Acquisition: Generating leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts
Client Counseling and Qualification: Assessing client financial situations, explaining loan options, and guiding them through the application process
Loan Origination: Taking loan applications, structuring loans, and submitting them for processing
Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with real estate agents, referral partners, and other industry professionals
Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date on mortgage products, guidelines, and market trends
Compliance: Ensuring all loan origination activities adhere to relevant regulations
Qualificaitons
Mortgage Loan license required
Prior experience in mortgage origination or a related field, 3+ yrs preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with mortgage loan origination systems and software
Understanding of mortgage products (conventional, FHA, VA, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Knowledge of compliance regulations and industry standards
