We are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator or Manager to join our client's fast-growing marketing team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization's social media presence, managing both organic and paid campaigns, and ensuring consistent, high-quality content across multiple social platforms. Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Manage and optimize content across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content, including short-form videos, reels, copy, and hashtags, to enhance audience engagement.
• Oversee paid social media campaigns and monitor their performance to ensure maximum ROI.
• Collaborate with external partners, community leaders, and well-known brands in Michigan, to amplify the organization’s presence and engagement.
• Utilize digital asset management tools to organize and maintain media assets.
• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and strategic alignment.
• Provide after-hours availability for timely responses and trend-based content creation during evenings and weekends.
• Work with video and photo editing tools to produce high-quality multimedia content.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media for a corporation or organization. Proven portfolio of work is required.
• Proficiency in using Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms such as TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube.
• Strong knowledge of both organic and paid social media strategies.
• Experience with digital asset management systems and content organization.
• Skilled in video editing and photo editing for social media purposes.
• Ability to create and execute content strategies, including short-form videos and reels.
• Familiarity with social media trends and analytics tools.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
