Launched by Avante Capital Partners in 2019, the Small Business Investing Scholars Program is the first internship program within the SBIC industry designed to create a more inclusive industry and create opportunities for students who have not been exposed to finance. This 8-week program will offer top undergraduate students interested in a career in finance or private equity the opportunity to work in one of our participating SBIC firms across the nation. As a Small Business Investing Scholar, you will get the chance to meet and interact with leaders in our industry and understand the career paths available across our businesses. We will also complement your training and on-the-desk experience at your assigned firm with mentorship and networking opportunities, including lunch & learns, and industry panels. As a Scholar, you will also learn more about the SBIC Program and the role of SBICs within the U.S. economy.
