Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN SANE / Forensic for a travel nursing job in Nome, Alaska.

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performed specialized medical-forensic examinations for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child maltreatment, and strangulation
• Certified in Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) protocols for both adults and pediatric populations
• Collected forensic evidence, documented injuries, and maintained detailed legal and clinical records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Provided trauma-informed care and crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute emotional distress
• Delivered expert testimony and collaborated with law enforcement and advocacy services as needed
• Participated in community education and outreach on topics related to abuse prevention, reporting, and survivor support
• Required to be on-call outside business hours for urgent patient care needs
• Maintained compliance with facility policy requiring up-to-date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (no exemptions accepted)

Certifications and Requirements:\n\nSART Certification (Adult & Pediatric) – Required\n\nCOVID-19 initial series + booster and influenza vaccine – Required\n\nExperience with forensic documentation and courtroom testimony – Preferred
